4th of July!

We went and saw Madagascar 3 and then headed to the park for a few rides.

Then we headed to the Carter's for some more fun.

Then we headed to the Jensen's for a BBQ!

Crawdad Fishing

 Kinnedi really didn't want anything to do with the crawdad's, I don't blame her they are kind of gross.

 I was trying to get them to smile at me, but they coudn't take their eye's off that crawdad.

Emma got really into catching them, she wouldn't touch them but wanted to pull the string up and shake them off into the bucket.  At one point she was catching 5-7 at a time.

 I had to try it out. So much fun, just don't care to touch or eat the things. 

 We caught about 60.

The next morning we went out on the raft and this is what we caught. 

 I know fish stories, people say their fish is usally much bigger then it really was, but this thing had to have been at least 16 inches.

 Trent was trying to get Emma to kiss the fish.

After that he was getting ready to put it back and the fish flopped right out of his hands and into the boat!  Girls screaming, crying wanting that thing off their feet! Me included of course!  So Funny!

Trent was showing the girls how to put a worm on a hook, they were totally grossed out at first.

By the end they were touching the worms and playing with them. 

Kinnedi said, "Look Emma a mustache!"

Happy Birthday Addi

Happy Birthday Addison!  We celebrated Addison's 2nd Birthday today, April, 15th.  We had family come over to help celebrate with us. 

Addi didn't want anything to do with the candles.  She started to cry and said, "hot, hot" 

Trent had to show her what to do.

My sister Ashlee made these amazing banana cream cupcakes.  So yummy!

Valentine Dance

 Our Stake held a Valentine Dance.  Trent and I wanted to show off our mad skills at swing dancing.  Plus we haven't been for a while.  We had fun, though we wish the music would of been a little more upbeat and modern.  Still, it was nice to get a night out.
