Garbage Can

We were all cleaning up after having a fun Christmas party on Saturday in Logan. My dad was putting things into the Garbage, including his granddaughter. He started pushing her around and she loved it.

Then Trent decided to join in and it became toss Kinnedi back and forth in the Garbage can. She laughed and laughed.

I think all of them were enjoying the Garbage.

This is Kinnedi throwing a fit because it was time to get out of the trash can and go home. Her fits aren't bad, she just throws herself down on the ground and rolls around a little bit but no screaming.

Trent's Surgery

Trent Thought it would be cool to post a picture of his stitches so all of you could see how gross it is. He thinks its pretty cool.

Today Trent had surgery again on his finger. It went really well, but he is going to have to have another surgery in 6-8 weeks. Bummer. We had kind of a crazy day today but things went well. What happened was both of his tendons ruptured, so the doctor removed them and next time is when they will take a tendon out of his wrist and put it into his finger. It all sounds pretty gross but if you know Trent at all this is so worth it. He needs a working finger. I had to take Kinnedi when I went to pick Trent up and that was super crazy because she wanted Trent to hold her the whole time, saying Da Da. Then she wanted to touch everything which isn't good either.Then the nurse brought her some crackers and juice and she was good for a whole five minutes. Finally the let me take Trent home and he went right to sleep and so did Kinnedi and I was off to get Trent's meds. We just have to be thankful that he has a finger and things went well.

Christmas Pictures

For our Family Christmas Pictures, Ruthann got all the girls maching red scarfs and gloves and Kinnedi a cute matching red dress. We all had fun and we look so cute. Except we are missing Todd and Jessica's family.

We had fun decorating the Christmas Tree. Kinnedi was doing really good with the ornaments, putting them on the tree. Then she starting taking them off and realized they were balls and started throwing them. Only the top half of our Tree is decorated because Kinnedi likes to take everything off.

Trent's work party

On Saturday 29Th was Trent's work party. We were asked to dress semi formal, it was pretty fancy. We first walked in and there were appetizers for us until dinner. Then they opened the room where our dinner would be. We all sat down, our table was really fun. The meal was really good. They had a comedian/performer who was pretty funny. Then they had Latino dancers come out and perform. They were really good, then the dancers taught us the basics for the salsa. After a few practices they said they were going to have a raffle for a bunch of awesome prizes. They said whoever was having the most fun dancing would be given raffle tickets. So Trent and I were busting our butts to show off. We got several tickets, we figured out to just follow one of the dancers and he would give us tickets. Then they had a dance off. We were picked to come participate. Trent and I were way excited. Two other couples from our table were picked also, which made it even more fun. They said its free style, so this was our chance to show our moves we learned from county swing though we still had to keep it salsa-ish. Every once in a while they would stop the music and excuse a few couples. Then it came to three couples, Trent and I and two other couples. Trent and I had to bust some major moves. We tried so hard and it was so much fun, then they stopped the music and said the winners are Trent and Candice. YEAH!! We won, it was so cool. So we got 30 tickets for the raffle. After that they started the raffle, we had several tickets to watch to see if they called our #. Finally one of our #'s was called. We won a Kitchen Aid. It was so awesome. We had so much fun trying to collect tickets and show off our mad dancing skills.

CPR

Trent thought it would be a good Idea for Kinnedi to know CPR. She has a few dolls now, and you never know when it might come in handy.

Towel Drawer

One of Kinnedi's favorite things to do is, She loves to pull all of the towels out of the towel drawer. But she can't just put them in one big pile, it has to be several smaller piles. Then when she is all done with that she sits in it. I guess we shouldn't really incourage her to sit in the the drawer, but it was supper cute to get a picture of her in it.

Trent's Birthday

Trent getting ready to blow out his candles. He requested No Chocolate cake. This cake was really good except a little too blue. Everyone who had some had blue teeth and lips.

For Trent's Birthday Kinnedi and I took him to one of his favorite Resturants, Texas Road House. It was really good food, Kinnedi Liked most of it, but especially when they brought out Trent's free Ice Cream Sunday. She had her eye on that ice cream and kept signing please over and over. Later that night we dropped Kindy of at my parents and Trent and I met Jason and Janaca at Pleasent Grove to go Country Dancing. We had a lot of fun dancing, but we were really rusty. We couldn't remember dance moves. That place brings back a lot of memories for Trent and Me. That is where Trent first told me he loved me and also the time he elbowed me in the nose. Fun times.
