Our fun week

Swimming at Grandma Lavon's house. We had lots of fun, when those guys
get together is like war... they are like 12 year old little boys and they know how to clear the pool.

Kinnedi was a little nervous at first but by the end of the night she didn't want anyone to help her swim.

The 4th of July breakfast, we go to Jerry and Ruthann's ward breakfast ever
year but this year it was way way too cold.
The poor Arizonians were freezing. Kinnedi always wants to hold her baby Addi, But when someone else does she has a little
bit of a fit, she is my little sister.

FIRE WORKS!!
We did fireworks, And Todd was lighting smoke bombs, Kinnedi thought they were
pretty cool until she decided to pick one up and burnt her little finger.
She says, " I listen to my mommy and daddy now"

It took a little while for Kinnedi to do sparklers, but she finally did and she was very cautious.

We went to the Potter family party, it was lots of fun seeing all of the family.
Trent's uncle Rodney has this really cool Tractor Trent and Todd drove the kids around while singing, " SHE THINKS MY TRACTOR'S SEXY!"
Kinnedi, Cali and Carter ready for their ride.
Trent and his little girl.
We all went on a hike to Silver Lake, lots of fun.
We went on a hike to Silver lake, Family picture moment, but Addison was asleep
and there was no way I was going to wake her up.
The Parade with five kids, by my self... what was I thinking. It really wasn't that bad.

At the parade, I only had enough money with me to buy one snow cone, so all the kids sat around Carter like little birds with their mouths open.
Addison enjoying the parade.
Carter, Cali, Kinnedi and Tanner watching the parade. Such cute kids.

Thanks for a fun week with you guys, we are already ready for you to come back.

Addison's Blessing Day

Addison Mae Carter

Big sister Kinnedi
Yesterday we had Addison's blessing. Trent luckily blessed her with the right name. I told him if he blessed her with the name Olga, I would be out of that church so fast. We had a lot of fun after with our families. It was really nice weather, we were able to hang outside and let the kids play. Thank you to everyone who came and all of you help, we had lots of fun visting with everyone. Especially big thanks to Tiffany and Justin for coming from so far away.

Getting ready for bed

Trent and his girls. If you know Kinnedi, She loves to hold your hand, And of course she has to hold her baby sisters hand. She always wants to. "I hold baby Addi's hand?," Please" And she can't hold your hand unless her fingers are interlocked with yours. Its a little hard to do that with little baby fingers, but she tries.
Holding hands again.
Kinnedi is giving the camera a High-five.
Cheese!

It's a girl!!!

Normally I leave the blogging up to my adorable wife, however, she is currently otherwise occupied and not able to make an update.

Thursday morning (4/15/10) at 4:50AM, I woke up suddenly to a sharp pain in my arm. I soon realized that I was experience contractions for the second time in my life. Lucky for me, the only pain I felt from the contractions was coming from Candice's stronger than usual grip that seized upon me every ten minutes. We figured we had plenty of time, so we both took showers, though apparently mine was too long since she started having contractions every 3 minutes.

We quickly finished getting ready and sped off. We dropped Kinnedi off at her Grandma Jensen's and we went to the hospital.

When we got there, Candice was Dialated to a 6 (I think), was 100% effaced, and was about ready to go.

She slowly progressed from a 6 to a 7, to an 8, to an 81/2, to a 9, to a 93/4, and finally to a 10. Yay!

At this point, I figured it would be smooth sailing, especially since Candice had her epideral and could hardly feel a thing. Once again, our daughters proved their stubbornness as Candice pushed for over 2 hours trying to get the baby through her small pelvis.

Finally, the doctor arrived and was able to get her out using forcepts. Addison (Add-A-Son) Mae Carter was finally born at 3:54PM. She weighed a whopping 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

We all thought that she would have weighed less, even the doctor thought she would come in under 8 pounds, though I guess that extra week in the uterus let her grow a bit more. Candice was just glad she came out under 10 pounds since I told her that if she weighed over ten, we would have to name her Olga.

Anyway, Candice and the baby are both doing great, though Candice is understandable exausted.

I am just so grateful for my wonderful wife Candice and our two adorable little girls.

I know you probably just skimmed this to see how much she weighed etc and are probably wondering where the pictures are. It is very late and I need some sleep, and the camera is at the hospital, so I will upload some pics soon. Until then, you will just have to take my word that she is one cute little girly.
